SOLD. oak dresser (may be dating from the 1930s or 1940s) hand painted using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in "Old White" with a protective wax finish. I've stripped the top of the dresser to show the lovely grain of the oak. The two drawers and cupboard are lined with a bright blue striped wallpaper giving it a light, fresh look inside. One of the drawers has a lift-out cutlery tray
The dresser comes apart in two pieces for easy delivery - the shelves sit on top of the cupboard and fasten together with 2 screws.
I couldn't resist dressing it up in my kitchen with some of my blue and white Cornishware, but I'm sure you know exactly what you want to put on yours. I think every kitchen needs a dresser - such useful storage and a great way to display china that's too nice to hide away. I love the way that it accumulates pretty pots and photos and bowls of fruit and Christmas decorations and it just carries on looking nicer and nicer until it'is crammed full of character and tells a family's story.
Dresser sold without contents - it's all ready for you to fill with your own lovely things! (Send me a piccie - I would love to see a photo of how it looks in your home)
