I get very excited about my Easter display. As soon as we break up from school I find the decorations, search the garden for a suitable branch and buy another decoration to add to the display.
Maybe it stems from my previous life as a primary school teacher and memories of setting up the nature table, or maybe its just a good excuse to arrange random objects and take photographs.
Obviously I add chocolate to the display on Easter weekend and not before. Too tempting every time I walk past!
This little heart is my new addition this year.
I bought a dozen quail's eggs, very carefully pierced each one and blew the contents into a bowl (quail's egg omelette for tea!). I then rinsed them out and popped them into a vintage tart dish. Just need some moss next time I'm walking in the woods and my new addition to the Easter display is ready.
